Taste Chile - Chilean Gourmet Week: October 30 - November 6, 2007 in Miami Taste Chile - Chilean Gourmet Week was a week-long gastronomic tour of Chile, which took take place at Cacao Restaurant in Coral Gables, FL from October 30 - November 6, 2007. Cacao featured a special Chilean menu during lunch and dinner, as well as a special Chilean wine list in honor of the event. Executive Chef Edgar Leal presented Chile’s unique culinary offerings paired with premium wine selections from Chile. Specialty Chilean cocktails spotlighting Chilean Pisco were available at the restaurant’s bar. The event was supported by ProChile and the Consulate General of Chile in Miami. |

| Images and Flavors of Chile: October 24, 2007 in Atlanta The Chilean American Chamber of Commerce of the South, along with ProChile, the Trade Commission of Chile, hosted a reception in Atlanta, GA to showcase the exquisite flavors and beautiful images of Chile. The event took place on Wednesday October 24, 2007, at 6 PM at the Dunwoody Country Club, located at 1600 Club Dunwoody Drive, Dunwoody, GA 30350. Special guests included the Chilean Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Mariano Fernández and Mr. Pablo Valenzuela, one of Chile’s most renowned landscape photographers. |

Chilean Week: October 10-24, 2007 in Los Angeles The Trade Commission of Chile in Los Angeles launched Chilean Week in
Los Angeles as part of a world tour to promote Chile as an alluring country
that offers reliable world-class goods and services across a variety of
industry sectors. The two-week long program ran from October 10-24, 2007
and included a series of trade, media, and consumer events designed especially
for the arts, business, fashion, film, food, and wine communities of the
greater Los Angeles area. This was the first time this event took place
in the United States. |

Flavors of Chile at the Beverly Hills Hotel An exclusive luncheon that featured Chile’s gourmet food products, produce, and fresh seafood artfully prepared by Chef Alex Chen of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Representatives from over twenty Chilean food companies were in Los Angeles to present their products during Chilean Week. Sip Chile: Fine Wine and Liquid Gold at the Beverly Hills Hotel

| Chilean Cuisine Week at Grace Restaurant From October 12-24, Grace Restaurant featured a special Chilean tasting menu created by renowned Chilean Chef Rodrigo Jofré and Grace’s Executive Chef Neal Fraser. For two weeks, the chefs worked together to bring Los Angeles gourmands a taste of Chile’s culinary bounty with novel creations utilizing gourmet Chilean ingredients. On October 11, ProChile kicked off the program with a VIP launch dinner
at Grace exclusively for the media. Guests of note included journalists
from Bon Appetit, CNN, Culinary Trends, The
Los Angeles Times, and Variety. Chef Rodrigo Jofré
and Chef Neal Fraser created a unique tasting menu for the event which
featured Chilean ceviches, empanadas, pebre, Chilean myrtle berries and
other native Chilean ingredients. |
