ProChile Hosts the First Friends of Chile Event in New York

The Trade Commission of Chile -ProChile- in conjunction with the store Puro Chile, the Chilean-North American Chamber of Commerce and the Gabriela Mistral Foundation hosted the first Friends of Chile event in New York. The event was held at Puro Chile, with the goal being to celebrate and show appreciation to those who have strengthened Chile's position in this region.

Guests were treated to cocktails with flavors and wines of Chile. Among the guests featured executives from communication media, financial entities, technological companies, guild associations, chambers of commerce in addition to companies in retail and food service in the Northeast region of the United States. 

According to the Director of the Trade Commission of Chile in New York, Alejandro Cerda, this was an excellent opportunity to get to know the people they have worked with better in addition to actively engage them in future events.

 Among others there were representatives from:
            -The Atalanta Corporation
            - The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade - NASFT
            - New York Stock Exchange
            - Moody's Investor Service
            - JP Morgan Chase
            - Wine Enthusiast
            - Cinema Tropical
            - Specialty Food Magazine
Due to the success of the event, this activity is planned to be hosted annually.
