Breakfast with the Chilean Ambassador to the United States Mr. José Goñi & Chilean companies in Miami

The Chilean Ambassador to the United States, Mr. José Goñi, met in Miami with a group of 30 investors and executives associated with Chilean companies in the community.

The meeting, held on September 15 at Hotel Viceroy, was organized by ProChile Miami and the General Consulate of Chile in Miami.

Goñi Ambassador made a presentation on the excellent state of bilateral relations with the U.S. and future challenges to our country as a coordinator in the region and model in terms of overcoming poverty. According to the Commercial Director of ProChile in Miami, Cecilia Arroyo, "the exhibition generated an interesting discussion of ideas among attendees". Later, the guests shared their impressions with the Ambassador regarding the global economy and the nascent recovery in the banking, transport of passengers and cargo, among others.

Some of the participants: Gisel Vega, General Manager of Banco de Crédito e Inversiones in Miami; Pablo Yunis, Vice President Passenger LAN; Lita Haeger, President of the Association of Binational Chambers; Roberto Gatica, President of the Chile-US Chamber of Commerce; representatives of "Un Techo para Mi País", among others.
