For the third year in a row, ProChile Los Angeles together with members of the consular offices in Los Angeles, will participate at the Annual Consular Press Officers (CPO) wine tasting where distinguisehed wine writers are invited as the judges. The wines will be blind tasted and journalists will discuss the wines and talk about current trends in the wine industry afterwards. The speakers this year will be: Russ Parsons, Editor, Los Angeles Times Food Section; Corie Brown, Co-founder/General Manager, Zester Daily (Food and Wine Weblog) and Parick Comiskey, Senior contributor, Los Angeles Times Food and Wines and Spirits.
The Chilean wines participating this time are:
1. Single Vineyard Malbec El Olivar 2007 Viu Manent winery.
2. Secreto Carmenere 2009, Viu Manent winery
3. Haras 2008 Estate Carmenere Ste. Michelle Wine Estates winery.
4. Haras 2009 Estate Sauvignon Blanc Ste. Michelle Wine Estates winery.
