The "International Wine & Food Festival in Washington DC takes place at the beginning of each year in the Ronald Reagan building, and gathers representatives from wineries and distributors, becoming the premier event of its kind for the wine industry in this region.

This year, ProChile’s Commercial Office in Washington D.C., participated with a booth in which was carried out tasting of national food products, such as “caricas”, “merquen”, olive oil, cheeses and seafood, also a wine tasting table with Viña Echeverria.

Additionally to the tasting, material of generic information was available (tourism, country image, products and services) and specific promotional materials of the participating companies.

The participation was very successful due to the high demand by Chilean products, such that people formed long lines to test Chilean products.
