Chef Pilar Rodriguez, was invited by the Administrative Director of the "L' Academie of Cuisine, Inc.", Patrice Dionot in order to carry out a gastronomic class for 22 advanced level students and their tutor.
Chef Rodriguez carried out a presentation “Cooking for the Wine” designed to educate the students in the correct selection of food and wine pairing, bringing out the best of each product. The participants tasted specific preparations with national products, such as “merquen” and olive oil, along with a selection of Chilean wines by Chef Rodriguez, for each elaborated preparation. At the end of the presentation, a Q&A discussion segment was opened between the students and Chef Pilar, so that the participants could get to know more about the food and wine pairing, preparations and the Chef’s culinary experience.
