Cinema Chile | NYC Fall 07 is New York’s first film festival designed to showcase Chile’s culture and art through the lens of the country’s hottest filmmakers. Cinema Chile forms an integral part of the ‘Chile, All Ways Surprising’ Country Image campaign promoting Chile to international markets.
Cinema Chile’s special Opening Night function will be held on Thursday, November 8th at The Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in downtown Manhattan. The majority of Cinema Chile’s program will comprise of a rotating schedule of approximately half a dozen of the latest and greatest Chilean films, encompassing a wide range of styles, genres, themes and filmmakers which will be screened at The Quad Cinema between November 9th through15th.
Cinema Chile will also feature in-person appearances and panel presentations from Chilean filmmakers and talent associated with the selected films. The program will also feature a mini-retrospective on an established world-renowned Chilean filmmaker.
